Our Mission
Feedback Dance Company was created by dance teachers who know the dance competition world inside and out. We understand the value of getting your dance on the stage early in the season and understand the power of valuable feedback.
Our commitment to you is simple. We will provide you with an incredible stage, a qualified judging panel, and professional feedback. In addition to audio feedback, we are reserving a few minutes after each routine for our panel to give any additional thoughts and inspiration. No competition and no awards, just feedback!
Audio critiques and routine video is included with each registration. Action shots will be available for purchase. Participants also may sign up for master classes and professional dance pictures options with Elliott Lopes.

The FEEDBACK experience will be held at Norton Auditorium on the campus of the beautiful University of North Alabama in Florence, Alabama. Norton Auditorium is host to a number of concerts, plays, and dance recitals each year. State of the art lighting and sound make this venue perfect for Feedback!

CHI LOPES
Chi Lopes is a Nashville native with over 20 years of combined experience as a professional dancer & choreographer working in both Los Angeles and Nashville. Her credits include Justin Timberlake, Pitbull, Ne-Yo, Paul McCartney, Carrie Underwood, Lauren Daigle, Natalie Grant, & CeCe Winans. Grammys, Emmys, VMAs, CMAs, AGT, and most recently worked on Francis Ford Coppola’s film Megalopolis.
With a heart for mentoring and encouraging the next generation, Chi is currently pursuing a degree in Psychology, combining her passion for dance with her desire to help young people grow in confidence, identity, and purpose.

BREA COLAGROSS
With 40+ years of experience as a dancer, instructor, and choreographer, Brea Colagross brings an incredible depth of training, performance knowledge, and teaching expertise to the dance world.
Brea has extensive training in ballet, tap, jazz, musical theatre, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, modern, and acro. She was 2nd Runner-Up to Miss Dance and received a scholarship to train at the renowned Steps on Broadway in New York City.
She spent 18 years teaching and choreographing at My Girls Dance Center and continues to be involved in their summer programs and currently teaches at All Starz Dance Academy in Florence.
Brea also has extensive experience in pageant talent coaching and choreography. Her credits include choreographing for Miss Alabama 2016 and Miss Georgia 2006, both of whom competed at the Miss America Pageant. Brea herself is a former Miss Georgia Top 10 finalist and talent winner.
In addition to her dance career, Brea brings 21 years of experience as a professional educator, giving her a unique ability to connect with, encourage, and develop young people.
Brea combines decades of professional training, teaching experience, and performance knowledge with a true understanding of young dancers. We are thrilled to have her sharing her expertise and celebrating the hard work, artistry, technique, and individuality of every dancer.

CHMIRA DAYVON
Chmira (Shuh-Meer-Uh) Dayvon is a Nashville-based dancer, choreographer, and model with over 5 years of teaching experience. He has performed with artists including The Weeknd, Walker Hayes, MC Lyte, Shy Carter, Leslie Jordan, and Big & Rich, has been featured in Vogue’s Best of Photo Vogue, and is a CLI Conservatory alumnus.
His classes emphasize community, confidence, and self-belief, beginning with the mantra: “I believe in myself, and I am in control of my body.” Specializing in Hip-Hop and Jazz Funk, Chmira focuses on stamina, performance, musicality, and camera training. His positive, supportive teaching style encourages dancers to push beyond their limits, value effort over perfection, and discover their full potential.

Jessica Curtis
Jessica Curtis has over 20 years of experience in the collegiate dance team industry and competitive studio world working as a coach, choreographer, consultant, adjudicator and educator. She began her journey as a member of the WKU Dance Team, where she first discovered her love for the dance team environment and athlete development. Jessica went on to coach at Virginia Tech for seven seasons and has spent the past 5 years working with the Vanderbilt Dance Team as both a coach and consultant. She is passionate about helping dancers pursue opportunities beyond high school while confidently navigating the ever-evolving collegiate dance recruitment and audition process.
In addition to her collegiate work, Jessica has taught at competitive dance studios, mentoring dancers as they set goals, build confidence and grow through personalized choreography and intentional training. Jessica is committed to developing well-rounded dancers with the skills, confidence and mindset needed to succeed so they are ready for the next stage of their dance journey.

Emma Naumovska
After discovering that ballet was her passion, Emma began training professionally and has since developed an extensive background in classical ballet and contemporary. She trained primarily under AnaĂŻs Chalendard, while also training with leading companies and institutions including American Ballet Theatre, School of American Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Boston Ballet, New York City Ballet, Chautauqua Dance Festival, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and more.
Her training has also taken her internationally, including to Orsolina 28 in Northern Italy, where she trained alongside Ballet BC and worked with acclaimed choreographer Medhi Walerski. Emma has also trained personally with renowned dance artists including Alonzo King, Wendy Whelan, Cynthia Harvey, Patricia McBride, Debbie Allen, Travis Wall, and others.
While ballet remains her primary discipline and greatest passion, Emma is also trained in lyrical, contemporary, jazz, musical theatre, flamenco, and pointe.
Alongside her dance career, Emma is a professional actor working across film, television, and commercial projects throughout the United States. Her screen credits include performances alongside Kristian Bruun (The Handmaid’s Tale, Orphan Black, The Recruit, Ready or Not), Ella Anderson (The Glass Castle, The Boss, Henry Danger), and Nikki Roumel (Ginny & Georgia).
Emma has also appeared in a feature film alongside Jana Kramer (One Tree Hill, Friday Night Lights), Kelsey Grammer (Frasier, X-Men), and Ben Hollingsworth (Virgin River, Code Black), which received a wide theatrical release.
She also starred in a short film based on the music of Grammy-nominated artist Rob Williford and has another period-piece film slated for release later this year.
With a foundation spanning elite ballet training, international dance experience, film, television, and commercial work, Emma brings a rare combination of physicality, discipline, versatility, and screen presence to every project.

Registering is simple. Select your preferred performance category, complete the registration form, and securely submit your payment online. Don’t miss the music uploader to submit your track.

Fees are non-refundable. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel for weather or unforeseen circumstances we will issue a full refund however those are the only circumstances in which a refund is available.

Yes! Dancers are welcome to register for multiple routines, provided each performance is registered separately. Even if your piece is not in its final state, our panel will offer feedback on what you have. We will craft our schedule as much as possible with your convenience in mind.

Feedback is open to all ages and all studio affiliations. We are happy to evaluate any dance.

The schedule will be sent to you by December. Along with the schedule you will be given the opportunity to sign up for masterclasses and photography time slots.
